After completing my AA degree at Santa Monica City College, I studied to become a dental assistant. My first job was on Santa Monica Blvd very close to St Mo’s. That lasted only 6 months as I married Kip Keel and moved to the Monterey Peninsula where he was stationed at Fort Ord. I started working in a Pediatric dental practice in Seaside, California. Kip and I split after four years and I continued with the children’s dentist eventually becoming the office manager of a huge practice. I purchased my first home at this time.

From there I moved to Pro Log Corporation, a firm manufacturing programmable devices. I managed the order processing department. We interacted with a world- wide client base and I had the opportunity to travel extensively. While employed there I was given the opportunity to complete my education with company assistance. It took me three years, but I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Human Relations. What an accomplishment. I managed to work full time, have a social life and study. What a hectic three years that was.

I left there to marry the love of my life, Jack Huff. We lived in Carmel Valley until our first move to Tucson, AZ. Then a brief five years in Broomfield, Colorado where I enjoyed watching my three grand-children grow and develop. I had the wonderful experiences of field trips, ball games, cheerleading & gymnastics practices rolled into those formative years.

Back to Tucson in 2003 where we now live at the Omni Tucson National Golf Resort. Jack and I took up golf while still in Carmel Valley and continue to enjoy the sport both here and in our travels. Once back in Tucson, I found a need to be busier with the grandchildren so far away and fairly well grown up, so tried my hand at real estate. That was in 2004 and I still enjoy a busy schedule where I can accomplish quite a bit from home. My office at Long Realty is only a short drive so I have the best of both worlds. I love finding just the right property for my clients and enjoy handing over those keys when the transaction closes.

Jack and I just celebrated our 27th wedding anniversary and plan to spend many more happy years together enjoying family, friends and golfing partners.
